Raised in the narrow streets of Park Place, Norfolk, Virginia, with the deep rooted lineage of Oakland, California, art has always been my primary language since I was five years old.

Growing up in a high pressure environment blessed me with survival instincts that unfortunately became the very shackles that kept me from excelling in my adulthood. It took years of rigorous inner work to unlearn those defensive reflexes and finally open myself up to my gifts of artistry as they were presented to me. I had to go into the silence to understand the meaning of the noise and there has been a liberation within me that I desire to share with the world.

My passion for art and being a creative has guided me towards my purpose. Showcasing the many expressions of the infinite through not only me, but also those I hope to meet along the journey, in order to better understand our existence and human cultures.

I move the way I do because I understand the weight of every detail. I hope to represent through my art and through Nova de Meridian that independence is not the absence of structure; it is the freedom to build your own.
